Located on the third floor of West Jordan’s City Hall, the Schorr Gallery has been exhibiting work by local artists since 1994. Featuring paintings by emerging artists as well as established professionals, the gallery seeks to encourage the development of artistic appreciation and endeavor by all who enter. The Schorr hosts seven shows a year, one of which is the annual Spring Contest, which attracts some of the best artists in the state. Additionally, the Schorr sponsors a plein air event on July 4th in Veteran’s Memorial Park in conjunction with West Jordan’s Family Fair and Stampede Rodeo. The Intermountain Society of Artists holds it annual Fall Contest at the Schorr.
